If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaters just pry
it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who geeves
a s....t. Check the Jose Cuervo.

Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.

Add one table.

A reminder to everyone to remember the homeless and the needy this Christmas. Donate anything you can, whether it be money, FOOD, blankets, clothing and don't forget TOYS! I know it isn't easy these days, but there are so many LESS fortunate

My son volunteered on holidays to feed the homeless at shelters and hand out blankets and food to the homeless on the streets. I feel an obligation to carry on for him and will be doing all I can to help gather and distribute food and clothing for those in need.

Erik (my son) had a problem with alcohol and went through rehab a few times. He was fortunate enough to have a home to come back to when he "graduated", but there are so many who didn't. Their families did not understand that alcoholism is a disease, and not a choice and disowned them. Some are lucky enough to be placed in half way houses or other apartments and need furniture and cleaning supplies, as well as clothing. Most receive food stamps but need just about everything else.

My father and I have kept our doors open to those who were friends with Erik, and they have kept in touch and a couple of them come over and do some heavy chores that my father can no longer do. Erik lived with us and was so good about doing those things for his grandpa and me. He had a huge heart and a wonderful sense of humor and was a joy to be around.

Erik seemed to have finally overcome his drinking but used pills as a substitute. That cost him his life a few months ago. Carrying on his legacy is very important to me.

My son, Erik, thought pennies were useless and always threw them on the floor. I used to find pennies all over the floor in his room when I vacuumed and we were always joking about them. I was thinking about him and looked up and told Erik if he was near to show me a sign. I walked out front (as I often do when I am outside smoking) and there was a penny in the driveway where Erik used to stand while he was smoking. That penny is now in his Bible.

Pop and I would always buy Pepsi at the grocery store for Erik, and the first time we went shopping after Erik passed, I lost it when we walked past the soda section and didn't stop to pick some up. When we got to the car in the parking lot, there was a penny on the ground near the rear bumper of his grandpa's car. We always put the groceries in the trunk. I have found a couple of other pennies in strange places after talking to or thinking about him.

Yesterday, I sent a traveling balloon on Facebook which was in memory of Erik. Just after I sent it, I was going to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee and there was a penny on the floor in the hallway right outside Erik's bedroom door.

It seems as though Erik found a use for pennies.

After a stress test, the doctors say he has had a mild heart attack but they don't know when, and one of his main arteries was 80% blocked. They did an angiogram and inserted a stent, but his heart is still very irregular and rather fast. He is 84 yrs old and a bit frail, so I don't know if bypass surgery is an option, or if he needs it. I only hope and pray he will be ok.
